Ground Pork
Bitter Melon, cored and thinly sliced
(Chinese) white wine (what’s it called?)
Chinese 5-spice
Grated ginger
Garllic
Hot peppers
Soy Sauce
Egg roll wrappers
Peanut Oil
Stir fry Pork, Bitter Melon, ginger, and garlic together, adding a dash of wine, 5-spice, and peppers. Add soy sauce to taste. Let mixture cool. Mound on to egg-roll wrappers and wrap, sealing with starch (cornstarch and water mixed to the consistency of glue.) Chill egg rolls.
Heat peanut oil in wok. Drop in chilled egg rolls and fry until golden brown. Remove and serve warm.
